Societal change has never come without a riot…

When we riot we tear down the old way to establish the new

To Be The Riot is to proactively challenge unfairness and to disrupt exclusive culture right where we are

If we want to reverse systems of inequity we must be the riot

Our Vision

We want a society that is free from inequity and truly representative of the diversity within it. A world where bias doesn’t impact a person’s ability to get on in the workplace and in their career. The negative impacts of bias and discrimination need to be stopped.

What we do

We support organisations to understand the experiences of their people, to develop their Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) strategy and deliver learning workshops that focus on the practical tools needed to create inclusive culture.

We use a collaborative approach, taking the steps needed to understand your organisation and adapting to your needs. We support you on the journey of culture change, providing insights and practical steps to inclusion.

We don’t do box-ticking. The human experience is what’s most important to us so this is what frames our insights and our approach. We aim to centre experiences derived from various aspects of diversity while recognising the impact of intersectionality.

“Being the Riot means bringing about a culture change. Inclusive culture takes all of us, recognising the role we play in supporting those around us and tackling systems that lead to biased outcomes. It’s an ongoing commitment”

Nathan Nalla, Founder/Director

We work with all kinds of organisations, it’s important to me that the work of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) becomes more accessible to small businesses and charities. Also that this work leads to meaningful change and is never a tick-box exercise.

Our core focus is EDI learning, when done right it makes an invaluable contribution to the employee and customer experience. We also support with other elements of EDI strategy that are vital to true inclusion.

Say “hey” and let’s explore how we can help you. =)
