Societal change has never come without a riot.

June 1969 - riots against a police raid at the Stonewall Inn in New York City, are widely considered a pivotal moment in the history of the gay rights movement. They marked a shift in LGBTQ+ activism, moving from individual protests to a more organized and visible movement for equality.

To be the riot is about being the change agent. Being the person who’s willing to speak out. Being the person who will challenge the status quo.

OUR MISSION

Be The Riot was founded in late 2020 with a mission to provide organisations with consultancy services and interactive inclusion workshops to help develop their equity diversity and inclusion strategies. The ultimate goal is organisations that are truly inclusive and reflective of our wonderfully diverse society.

OUR VISION

Our vision is a society that is free from inequity and truly representative of the diversity within it. A world where bias doesn’t impact a person’s ability to get on in the workplace and in their career.

True lasting culture change is only achieved when we all understand the individual role we each play in inclusion.
